दगान हे किशोर कवठे ह्यांच्या काव्यसंग्रहाचे शीर्षक दगान के मराठी वाचकाला कुतूहल वाटायला लावणारे आहे. दगागणे म्हणजे खचणे, गळणे, नाश होणे. त्यातूनच 'दगान' हा शब्द तयार झाला असावा. भुई आणि गाव हे कवीच्या जिव्हाळ्याचे विषय आहेत. अंधूक व्यवस्थेच्या वाटेवरचा वाटसरू असलेल्या ह्या कवीला आजूबाजूच्या वणव्याची धग जाणवते आहे. वर्तमानाचे विरूप वास्तव कवी जगत असताना भविष्याचे आश्वासक चित्रही रेखाटतो. माणूस म्हणून असलेल्या आपल्या सहनशील आणि क्षमाशील स्वभाव गुणांच्या मर्यादा कवी ओळखून आहे.
