Aisa Chetala Abhang

मध्ययुगीन मराठी काव्यप्रवाहातील अभंग हा विलक्षण काव्यरचनाप्रकार संतकवितेच्या सीमारेषेपाशी थांबला नाही. अभंगाचा प्रवाह काळसंहितेला झुगारून आजच्याही सभोवतालाच्या अवकाशाला कवटाळत वाहतोच आहे. मध्ययुगातला 'कालचा ' अभंग आत्मानुभुतीतून आणि समष्टीच्या कळवळ्यातून प्रकटलेला विश्वकारुण्याचा हुंकार होता. समकालातला 'आजचा ' अभंग तीव्र आत्माविष्कारातून आणि समूहाभिव्यक्तीतून प्रकटत सभोवतीच्या क्रूर, कराल वास्तवाला थेट भिडणारा आहे. काव्याभिव्यक्तीच्या रंगबिरंगी विविधांगी रचनाबंधांच्या गर्दीतही अभंगाने आपला सूर नितळ व निराळा राखला. प्रत्येकच काळातील अभंगरचना तशी साधी आणि आकलनसुलभ वाटत असली तरी अभंगरचनेच्या तळाशी अत्यंत प्रांजळ आरस्पानी आणि लखलखीत जीवनदृष्टीची उपस्थिती अनिवार्य ठरत आली आहे. एकूणच जीवनाविषयीचे आकलन आणि जीवनाच्या उफराटेपणाविषयीचे असमाधान व्यक्त करण्याचे असाधारण व निर्णायक सामर्थ्य अभंग या रचनाबंधातच आहे. म्हणूनच हा अक्षरछंद प्रत्येकच काळातील सर्जनशील कविप्रतिभांना सतत खुणावत आला आहे.
पूर्वविदर्भातील 'अक्षर साहित्य कला प्रतिष्ठान' ही वाङ्मयीन संस्था अभंग निर्मितीविषयीच्या निखळ आस्थेतून अभंग साहित्य संमेलनांचे आयोजन करीत असते. अभंगकारांच्या मांदियाळीची एक वाङ्मयीन फलश्रुती म्हणून प्रस्तुत 'ऐसा चेतला अभंग' या अभंगसंग्रहाची नोंद घ्यावी लागेल. या अभंगसंग्रहाचे संपादक माझे कविमित्र किशोर कवठे यांच्या प्रगल्भ व आश्वासक संपादन दृष्टीचे प्रतिबिंब या अभंगसंग्रहात उमटले आहे.

Abhang, a unique poetic form in the medieval Marathi poetry, did not stop at the border of saint poetry. The flow of Abhang continues to flow, embracing the surrounding space even today, defying the time code. The Abhang of the 'past' in the Middle Ages was a cry of universal compassion revealed through self-awareness and the collective pain. The 'today' Abhang of the contemporary era is a direct confrontation with the cruel, harsh reality around it, revealed through intense self-expression and group expression. Even in the crowd of colorful and diverse compositions of poetic expression, Abhang maintained its tone smooth and distinct. Although the Abhang of every era seems simple and easy to understand, the presence of a very sincere emotion and a vivid vision of life has become indispensable at the bottom of the Abhang composition. Abhang has the extraordinary and decisive power to express the overall understanding of life and dissatisfaction with the exuberance of life. That is why this Akshar Sahitya Kala Pratishthan has continuously marked the creative talents of poets of every era.
'Akshar Sahitya Kala Pratishthan', a literary organization in East Vidarbha, organizes Abhanga literary conferences with a sincere interest in the creation of Abhanga. The Abhanga collection 'Aisa Chetla Abhanga', presented as a literary fruit of the world of Abhanga writers, has to be noted. The profound and promising editing vision of my poet friend Kishor Kawathe, the editor of this Abhanga collection, is reflected in this Abhanga collection.
