About This Book
Carlos is a nine-year old Dominican boy who comes to live to the United States. Carlos dreamed of traveling to the United States to reunite with his father, but few weeks after his arrival, he becomes very sad. Carlos does not understand English and does not have any friends. He wants to return to the Dominican Republic where his relatives and friends are. But when Carlos starts school, a play completely changes his life.
