Más allá de la imagen

This book brings together the work of experts who from different disciplines have taken the image as the object of study. Traditionally, it had been privileged by those disciplines oriented towards visual studies, however, the results of the work presented here are a sign that the image is ubiquitous and the practices in which they develop manage to cross the disciplinary boundaries. For this very reason, it is necessary that to understand our world now surrounded by images, studies are carried out that take disciplinary differences as strength, and offer alternative looks of rapprochement. This has been the motivation that led to the development of the works that meet in the present work.
