A genealogy on the descendants of William (d1707) and Priscilla Timmins, immigrants to Somerset Co, MD and Edward Tanner (1740-1790) of Surry Co, VA. Their descendants migrated into NC, OH, IN, KS and many other states. Allied families include Browning, Chandler, Cox, Dixon, Gregg, Hinshaw, Hughes, Loyd, McManus, Rains, Ramey, Wierman, and Wroten.
For the past thirty (30) years, the author has spent countless hours researching the family history and traveling around the country collecting pictures (including many cemetery photos) and documents. Months were spent in renown depositories of family records to put together this record of the Timmons and Tanner families.
