Nicholas Barth, parents not listed, was born 18 Mar 1844 in Frohmühl, Alsace, France. He married Mary Magdaline Scheidel, daughter of Michel Scheidel and Barbara Briva, in 1869 in France. They had 9 children. They emigrated to the United States about 1878 and settled in Salina, Kansas. Nicholas died 15 Dec 1911 in Denver, Denver County, Colorado. Magdaline died 31 Mar 1926 in Chanute, Neosho County, Kansas. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived in New Hampshire, Connecticut, Texas, Kansas, Iowa, Missouri, Arizona, Massachusetts, Colorado, Washington, California and elsewhere.
