<div>Collection of concert
programs for the Friday Musical Club from 1950 -1960. This collection
has 11 booklets that have textured card stock and construction paper covers of various colors. Three of them are held together with different colored strings. Seven of them are held together with two brass fasteners of various designs. One booklet is held together with two staples. <br /></div><div><br /></div><div>The inside pages are
always typed on white paper cut to fit, and most of them have notes from
either Gertrude E. Stahley Dellinger, or Jessie M. Opdycke. There are two other programs included here that are paper programs*, one is one page front and the other is  folded with one page of information. All of these
programs are presented here in chronological order. The concerts varied
between many instruments, ensembles, and vocalists. <br /></div><div><br /></div><div>All
of these programs and booklets come in various sizes, colors, fonts,
and are in degrees of condition from poor to excellent. Many of them have notes written on the pages. <br /></div><div><br /></div><div>*A guest pianist of note is Aurora Potter Underwood, listed as a guest on May 27, 1952 and March 20, 1953. She was a faculty music professor at the University of Oregon for many years. She was also affiliated with Portland University and Portland State University. She was also an active member of the music fraternity Mu Phi Epsilon. </div>
