Relics, Ruins, and Artifacts

In the first of a series about the history of the Low country and the Golden Isles of Georgia, Meryl Truett photographs ruins, such as plantations, cabins, and forts, which represent the events of slavery and the visual aesthetic of Southern Gothic literature. Rumi Hara designed, illustrated, and constructed this zine in a signed print run of 25. Text and titles of the photographic prints are printed on preceding vellum pages.
