A false charge of kidnapping a child brings together Cate Lindsay and Detective Inspector Adam Stone. Despite this proving to be a hoax, Cate finds herself embroiled in a dangerous game of cat and mouse with a devious impersonator who seems determined to ruin Cate's business.
