About This Book

This is a classic book on the subject of Overhead Power Transmission Line Design using classic methods. The book (my copy is not complete) has step by step methods for Sag-Tension Computations for level and inclined spans. Describes a method to compute deflections of insulator supports in the event of breakage of a conductor in a series of spans. valuable tables and data is appended at the end that is probably not available now to the common designer outside USA. The book has actually been issued as an official design Manual by Department of Interior, Water and Power Resources Service, Denver, Colorado

I recommend theis book to all T/L Design Engineers specially outside USA, as in US the book is available in multiple libraries.
