Troubled teen, Shaylee, is sent to the remote Blue Rock Academy, a boarding school in Oregon. Her half-sister, Jules, is slightly worried, since students have disappeared from the school. Jules applies for a job there, as a teacher ; by coincidence one of her ex-boyfriends is also masquerading as a teacher there -- taking a break from his usual job as a rodeo rider.
