An electronic book with animated color maps presenting rainfall data over time. "This is a primary source of information on recent rainfall in Bolivia and South America. Animations (.avi) of monthly images of SPI (Standardized Precipitation Index) show how the rain has varied. Animations of SPI-1, -2, -3, -6, -12, and -48 months are included. Images were formed by Kriging (Golden Software, 1999) of monthly values of precipitation taken from GHCN (Global Historical Climatology Network, 2005).
