About This Book
1930 calendar featuring The Owen-Peeke Feed and Grain Company's advertisement in the top section (8.25" x 11.25") and the calendar pages in the bottom section. The calendar is printed in red and blue ink. The calendar, when unfolded, measures 11.25" x 16.5." The advertisement has the company name at the top, with a colorized photo of two children picking flowers in a field. Underneath and around the photo are lists of supplies found at this company, and the address, all in blue ink. The very top of the calendar has a thin, metal bar and a metal hook for wall hanging. The calendar pages on the bottom are meant to be torn off with each new month. On the back of each calendar page is a columnar record for money spent and earned. After December, there is a space for Inventory, Yearly Expenses and Profits, and Gas and Oil Record. The last two pages contain an article titled "Spray Calendar for Apples, Pears, and Quince." The back page of the article has a "Gestation Record" on the back of the The back of the calendar is mostly blank, but there is a typed name in the center of the lower back: "Wm. Bush. Knappa. Oregon."
