Dawn Rochelle is fifteen, and her leukemia is in remission again following a successful bone marrow transplant. This summer she has agreed to work as a camp counselor for younger kids with cancer at the same camp she attended with her best friend Sandy. Now Sandy is gone, and Dawn will have to deal with her memories if she is going to be able to help others.
