Guide to the archives of intergovernmental organizations

This Guide is a joint project between UNESCO and the International Council on Archives, Section of Archivists of International Organizations (ICA/SIO). For each organization the following information is provided: address, administrative history, description of the archives service and holdings, research strategies, access rules, and an overview of the organization's purpose. The present paper version of the Guide provides a provisional overview of the archival holdings and related information about a number of important intergovernmental organizations. Since practical information concerning addresses, emails web-sites, etc. in particular, and even access rules, may change quite often and being given the ambition of ICA/SIO is to gradually improve and enlarge the Guide, all readers are invited to consult the Web Guide for the latest updates.
