Anthology of new literature in Mexican indigenous languages, most of it produced after 1980. Constitutes broadest and most complete selection to date, containing works of nearly 140 men and women writing in Náhuatl, Maya, Tsotsil, Ch'ol, Mixteco and other tongues (alongside translation to Spanish). Editor is poet, journalist, physician and activist who has worked tirelessly in social movements for indigenous rights.
