Shadow from the Past

Jarlen, apprentice to an eccentric Arboreal wizard, returns home from his first quest to find his master’s house consumed by strange, green flames. While the rest of the community blames the Ferfolk for the devastation, Jarlen sets off to find the murderer. He soon meets Tyraz, a young Ferfolk warrior, who seeks answers to a similar fire near his home. The two strangers must put aside their differences to solve the mystery of the attacks before the Arboreal and Ferfolk armies launch a bloody war of revenge.

Shadow from the Past is book three of the first-ever Interlocking Matrix of fantasy/adventure novels. An Interlocking Matrix is a series of nine books that comprises six separate trilogies. Shadow from the Past is the third story in The Weapons Trilogy as well as the first story in The Necromancer Trilogy.
