The decline of bourgeoisie

This title of this research is The Burgeoisie Formation and Politic in Indonesia, Case Study about Genealogy of Burgeoisie in Kotagede Yogyakarta. The research was intended to write a history of Bourgeoisie in a specific context, but really it was influenced by the global competition power. One of the matter that was studied was how the genealogy group or a group of Kotagede community, was named by the group of economy elite or in Europe was named by The Bourgeoisie power that had big influence to the social and political transformation or democracy. This matter was studied in this research was the Europe experience relevant enough in Kotagede context that have specific and the unique history. The other purpose of this research was to know how the Bourgeoisie group have ability to respond the new era that developed continually.
Based on the study that had been done, there were some findings of this research. First was the Burgeoisie in Kotagede appeared not only caused by factor that had made by the state (a colonial, a kingdom or a modern state), but also in Kotagede was happened an industrial revolution in micro scale that was a revolution that happened in the craftman era at the end of the Mataram Kingdom power Era. Then it developed the merchandise era with appearance of independence power that came from outside the palace. In the early of merchant appearance, the Western people had assumption that the appearance merchant could be the new power that replace the feodal group or the aristocrats power. The reality showed that in development of the merchant power that was imagined could be a new class power, then it became only a secunder class that became an sub-ordinat of power or ideology struggle under the super strong patronage cover. That matter make the fail of Burgeoisie power as a power that support democracy and capitalism was like happened in Europe experience. They were work and doing political activity not based on the class consciousness as Marx terminlology, but they did a struggle of ideology utopia that went through the social class that existed in society.
