Lita's lament

Lita Rossini was a model; a would-be showgirl and a magnet for grief. When she visited the apartment of nightclub owner Abe Craster, hoping to advance her career, she was the unwitting catalyst for Craster to drop down dead! Fleeing the scene, she encountered private eye Jerry Randell, who was investigating Craster's criminal activities. The consequences of that meeting would not only bring more grief to Lita, but also to Jerry - and various members of Los Angeles' crooked underworld!
