About This Book

Having been invited to create an "architectural intervention" at the Museo de Arte Carrillo Gil, Zamora proposed the idea of constructing (and, temporarily, living in) a house attached to the building's external walls. The final product, a hanging house attached to the facade, was built using construction methods used by "paracaidistas" -- people who appropriate and build on uninhabited land belonging to the government or to individuals. The first stage of Zamora's project was the technical and logical resolution of the work; the second was the actual construction, through its disassembling and the recycling of materials. This catalog is the third stage of the project.
