Kuwŏn ŭi misulgwan

At age 28, while studying abroad in Germany, the author was struck by Albrecht Dürer's "Self-Portrait at 28". "I am here. Where do you stand?" the other man seemed to say from within the painting. In the same manner, this book tours art history and not only explains the works themselves, but uses art as a medium with which to examine ourselves and our modern society.
