El templo de San Miguel de Mezquitán

Research and analyses about the historic-artistic aspects and the iconography of the cult of Saint Michael the Archangel presented in the decorative architectural elements of the 17th century baroque church of Mezquitán, located in a neigborhood of Guadalajara. The church of the Franciscan order is unique due to the diverse architectonic and decorative elements that integrate the building, including its plateresque-style faÉade, its gargoyles of defeated demons and idols and other ornaments.
