Collected works of a Tibetan Buddhist teacher of the Gelukpa (Dge-lugs-pa) tradition, Yongs-ʼdzin Ye-shes-rgyal-mtshan (1713-1793), who was born in Kyirong (Skyid-groṅ), served as preceptor of the Eighth Dalai Lama and founded Tsechokling Monastery in the vicinity of Lhasa. The collected works here include a detailed commentary of the Jatakamālā, biographies of teachers in the Lam-rim transmission lineage, instructions for meditation, instructions for thangka painting, gsol-ʼdebs and other forms of verse, etc.
