A fórmula da saudade

Television presenter Camila Vaz is forced to flee Portugal after the scandal caused by the publishing of her book The Persistence of Memory. When she decides to reappear in public, she receives a journalist in a hotel in Rio de Janeiro on the last day of the year. The ensuing conversation leads to the interviewer remembering the love story between his grandparents, Zulmira and Joaquim, who met in Lisbon during the 1950s, until the young official was sent off to the Portuguese colonies in India.
