About This Book

This is a split zine. My War consists of articles on women's rights, feminism and Rush Limbaugh's "feminazi" epithet, racism and being mixed-race (Thai-American) and computers. Issue 3 of Hollyhock includes an interview with New Jersey punk band IDK. and a transcribed discussion about abortion and being pro-life while still being a feminist. There is a copy of a letter from the author to Mimi Nguyen (Race Riot), who donated a copy of this zine. Both sides of the zine contain are cut and paste style, with comics, ads, collages and reviews.
