Sisters in Scripture

This book is intended as a group scripture study. It focuses on the lives and relationships of biblical women as a way of accessing the text for modern readers. Through it women explore their own relationship to God and to others in their lives. Prayer is woven throughout the study, thoughtful reflection questions help readers connect God's Word with their own lives, and tools of biblical scholarship are introduced that allow readers to explore the historical context, literary form, and multiple layers of meaning within scripture.
