Por siempre Cuevas

The first posthumous exhibition dedicated to Jose Luis Cuevas (1934-2017), an artist that transcended borders and became a fundamental reference to understand the concept of rupture in the history of Mexican contemporary art. Por siempre Cuevas [Forever Cuevas] includes pieces produced between 2006 and 2014 from the artist¿s recent production, with the exception of a painting dated 1999. Drawings, paintings, different techniques on paper - some in large format - and bronze sculptures make up the exhibition. ð --Page 59.
