Literatura i maszyna

Book and Literature machine is the result of several years of research the relationship between man and machine, which since the Industrial Revolution clearly determines our behavior, not excluding the creative process. I consider, therefore, some more or less specific problems, structured around three themes: the machine discourse, the discourse about the machine and the machine discourse. First I discuss the example of the writing instrument, with an emphasis on making present of the typewriter in the selected texts Boleslaw Prus and Slawomir Mrozek, as well as on the description and characterization of the impact of digital machine for the formation of literature. The second topics realize based on the articles and sketches published in the nineteenth-century periodicals, "reconditioned" and "Universe". Reading them realize the impact of discoveries and inventions, especially for electricity, the perception of reality and art. The last of the topics discourse machine is a description of the meaning and function of the device as an important element of imagination as a writer. I do think the subject of selected works by Witold Gombrowicz, Stanislaw Lem, Tadeusz Rozewicz and texts entertainment, including crime fiction and erotic prose.
