PPVT-4

Measures the receptive (hearing) vocabulary of children and adults. It is a norm-referenced, wide-range instrument that is untimed and individually administered. It is available in two parallel forms, designated as Form A and Form B. Each form contains training items followed by 228 test items, each consisting of four full-color pictures arranged on a page. The examinee selects the picture that best illustrates the meaning of a stimulus word spoken by the examiner.
