About This Book
This is a reference book on exhibition architecture, the activity of planning and reframing the space where an exhibition is built. César Sartorelli defines this architectural language, relating it to the history of museography, and then analyzes the trajectory of two great Brazilian curating architects: Lina Bo Bardi (1914-92) and Gisela Magalhães (1930-2003). By detailing the main exposures of each in chronological order, it seeks to establish similarities and differences. The conclusion of this work was to establish similarities and differences in the exhibition architecture language of both architects. Fundamental reading for architects, curators and artists.
