Pravovai︠a︡ okhrana prirody Severa Rossii XVIII - nachala XX vekov

An interdisciplinary study of the rise and development of national and international law regulating the exploitation and conservation of natural resources in northern European Russia. The work traces the history of economic/legal methods of resource conservation used by the Russian state in the pre-Soviet era (18th to early 20th centuries). Issues covered include antipollution measures, forest conservation, water- and land-use, protection of marine mammals, and legislation on hunting, trapping, and fishing in the Russian north.
