The 2014 Adelaide Biennial of Australian Art: Dark Heart taps into the hearts and minds of the nation - probing the personal, political and psychological dimensions of contemporary issues in Australia. It explores Australia's cultural identity through the lens of some of the country's leading contemporary artists. Featuring photography, painting, sculpture, installation and the moving image, this Biennial offers audiences an emotive and immersive experience. Established in 1990, the Adelaide Biennial is the flagship exhibition of Australian contemporary art nationally.
