The caper

While staying with his elderly aunt on Cape Cod for the summer and trying to follow his father's charge to keep himself and his sister and brother out of trouble, RUdy is worried about his flamboyant uncle's professed conversion by a charismatic preacher and the mysterious, possibly dangerous, dealings of some shadowy characters he meets on the beach.
