Alberto Urdaneta

"Catalog of an exhibition of 367 works (paintings, engravings, photographs, drawings, caricatures, sketches, murals, etc.) held at Biblioteca Luis Angel Arango (1992). Urdaneta (1845-87) was a cultivated man committed to many endeavors: military man, architect, artist, and photographer, but above all, a man of letters and the founder of four newspapers. His last, Papel Periódico Ilustrado, gathered in its time the most prestigious figures of Bogotá's intelligentsia, becoming a classic in Colombia's journalism.
