A centuries-old order of nuns is being disbanded, and their multi-million-dollar assets from past endowments will eventually devolve to the Vatican. But three alumnae of one of the Sisters' private schools see a way to grab the fortune and become fabulously rich -- with no one losing except the Vatican. The three women set out to win the confidence of the Sisters for a daring scam -- vowing to follow through, come what may. What seems like a safe bet then turns murky, as their scheme launches a chain reaction with shocking -- and deadly -- results.
