About This Book
This volume contains the genealogy of John Howe of Sudbury and Marlborough, Massachusetts. John Howe (or How) is the immigrant ancestor of the Sudbury families of that name, having arrived before 1638. He was one of the first settlers of the towns of Sudbury and Marlborough, MA. His grandson, David Howe, built a tavern in Sudbury known as the Howe Tavern or Red Horse Tavern, and later known as the Wayside Inn, made famous in a poem by Longfellow.
