Hadas bi-ḳetseh ha-lailah

A young woman in the middle of the battle at Latrun, the only one left of her squad and she is hiding from the Arab Legion. She calls for help over the connection and holds a grenade in her hand ready to use if she needs to. Two nations are fighting for the land and at the same time two young men are struggling for her heart. One is a Palmahnik, a kibbutznik with the expectations of the settlement on his shoulders, the other an only son who seeks to escape the war. Between them is Hadas, who survived the horrors of the Holocaust in Poland, and wants to integrate into Sabra society. Who is going to save her? --
