Space Platform

This monograph commemorates architect Jang, Soon Gaks tenth anniversary since establishing his studio in Seoul, allowing him to elucidate his core concept of space within space for the future generation of architects. The book revisits past projects from the period 1999-2013, illustrating his approach in creating strong identities and effective design solutions through singular, coherent concepts and dynamic, colourful interiors. Highlighting more than 30 works in extensive detail and with numerous bold photographs, from cultural complexes, restaurants, residences and installations, to spaces for retail and medical services, it gives key insight into his design process.
