About This Book
*Minyan* is a collection of 10 short stories, which vary from two to 45 pages, that is dedicated to the author's mother. Jacobson uses dialogue to tell the majority of his stories, much the same way he, as a working journalist, would use quotes to provide the weight of the article. Although Jacobson notes that the stories are fictitious, one can't help but read some of his work as, at least partially, autobiographical.
