Minutes of North Carolina Yearly Meeting of Friends

These minutes include reports and advice on many topics, especially attendance at Meetings, love and unity among members, plainness and moderation, use of liquor, testimony against war and a hireling ministry, the needs of poor Friends, training of children, and reading Holy Scripture. Also at this meeting, a committee was formed to help Freedmen to employment and education and to foster their general welfare.
