Asrār-ul-Haq Majāz (1911-1955) was a distinguished poet of the progressive movement of Indian writers started before independence (1947). Despite his short span of life, his contribution was important due to the effectiveness and attractiveness of his poetry. His style is soft, simple and beautiful using innovative forms.
