The book aims to help decision makers consider the best alternatives in farming, especially regarding top soil conservation and soil fertility. This is to be done without the use of chemical fertilisers or any other forms of chemicals such as insecticides or herbicides. The second aim is to teach Solomon Islands people of the old and new knowledge of how to achieve the best results from their hard work in gardening or farming.
