Among Stars Above the Storm

A personal history of pioneering World War II flights over the North Atlantic in B-17 bombers, and flights over the Himalayas in the trecherous Hump Operation. Based on recently discovered letters and records, the book contains over 120 never-before published historic World War 2 color and black and white photographs.
This is a story of day-to-day life and romance set within the world at war, and is a more intimate view of this amazing period in World War 2 history. Many photos show daily life at airbases in Assam, India during the Hump Operation.
