Calgary Cigarette Butt Collection Study

A practical study to gather facts about collecting cigarette butts, for the purpose of calculating a fair wage for such work. Economic aspects are also discussed. The main finding is that for a person to make $15/hour, a four cent collection fee per butt would have to be paid to the collector.
