"The idea behind this book is to offer an insight into the creative processes invovled in constructing the quilts in this exhibition. Each artist has her own individual approach to inspiration and technique and each faces personal challenges in managing workflow and dealing with studio space. By including source material and comments from the artists, we hope the book gives a flavour of how each quilt developed while it was 'under construction'."
