Small Vessels

Most of this book presents basic details of many different types of small vessels (not exceeding 200 feet in length), including passenger ships, tugs, lighters, dredgers, harbour vessels, and special purpose vessels. Details for each include a small photograph, plan and elevation general arrangement drawings, and table of particulars (length, breadth, depth, draft, dwt, engine power, speed). Some general discussion of design considerations, in alphabetical arrangement from 'accommodation' to 'woodwork' completes the book.
