Panteones de El Carmen y Dolores

The cemeteries of El Carmen and Dolores in Monterrey, Mexico are two early 20th century burial grounds full of architectonic and sculpture works now considered part of the city of Monterrey cultural patrimony. The present book is a catalogue of a selection of tombs in the cemetery of El Carmen with brief analysis of the buried people and the architecture, art styles and symbolism of the tombs, crypts and mausoleums of personages of great importance in the history of the city and state and the artists and constructors of the diverse funerary pieces. Includes a plan of the modern cemetery of El Carmen.
