This substantial collection of works by Ryuichi Ashizawa Architects & Associates, spanning from early designs to the latest works, includes 55 projects ranging from architecture and interior design, to furniture and other designs. It is both a history of the Japanese architect's practice - who worked for a time under Tadao Ando following his graduation from university - and an anthology of his major works so far. According to the foreword by architectural historian Shunsuke Kurakata, "The best word to describe Ryuichi Ashizawa's architecture is 'flow'. A flow that brings humans closer to their surrounding environment"; a questioning of architecture from the perspective of nature.
