About This Book

In the self-published book 'River End', we get to follow Fredrik Åkum's artistic production of painting during two intensive years. A cohesive body of work is presented partly through the essay 'Lost in Translation' by Mattia Lullini, but also in the artist's own photographic documentation from his studio and four exhibitions in Sweden. Exhibitions: Alta Art Space, Malmö; Steinsland Berliner, Stockholm; Färgfabriken, Stockholm and Höganäs Museum & Konsthall, Höganäs.
