The Deliverers

Eric Scott is a 12-year-old boy who is called upon to deliver Calendria, a small fishing village in another world, from Sharky, an immortal pirate captain that has enslaved the entire hamlet. On his arrival in Calendria with Stig, the owl who summoned him to help, Eric is perceived to be one of the Deliverers, the heroes of an ancient prophecy who are destined to defeat Sharky. Eric and Stig receive the key to a powerful weapon, but when things go horribly wrong, they discover the true objective of their mission.
